Product Review: Rethink Reusable Produce Bags

Don't you just hate it when you're at the local fruit and vegie store checking out the apples and you have the choice of either letting them roll around your basket or using a plastic bag? Neither option really appealed to me. So when I spotted these Rethink Reusable Produce Bags awhile back, I decided I definitely had to buy some to try them out. These reusable produce bags offered the perfect alternative to my dilemma.

I have been using them now for close to two months and they are invaluable. I bought two of the multi-packs so I have in total 4 large and 2 small bags. They are a fantastic size; the big ones are perfect for things like apples, oranges, potatoes and kumara while the smaller ones are just great for tomatoes, capsicums, carrots and limes.

These bags have honestly made quite a difference to my weekly shop and I even get quite a few complimentary comments from both other shoppers and the shop assistants. I really can't recommend these enough. They are brilliant!

The bags are 100% biodegradable and organic certified.

You can buy them online at http://www.rethinknz.com/

  1. Oh! Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! I've been baffled with the plastic bag vs. rolling around in my cart option for months. This is a great alternative.

  2. No problem! They seriously are one of the best buys I've had in this journey to more sustainable living. If this particular ones aren't available in your area I hope you can find something similar that are.
